I have a problem related to F1 OPT I-20
I was supposed to finish my undergraduate in May but I missed one of the required class for the major and could not graduate. I did walk the ceremony. However I failed to register for the summer class as I have pending balances from last semester.

Now, what happens to my status? My OPT got approved and I found a full time job and I started working full time without actually graduating. I assume my I-20 is expired. Is it possible for me to work in the mean time and register the class and graduate by december?

I read in the USCIS website that there is a "thesis" clause which mentions that you can work full time on OPT and have time of 12 months to graduate. Can it be applicable to me?

I think you cannot take courses for the program that was used to get ur post-completion opt. I read this from a university website http://iservices.iupui.edu/visas/F-1/opt/
It says

"You may study part time while on OPT, but you should be cautious. Any courses taken should not apply towards a degree program, and should be "incidental" to your OPT employment; that is, you need to continue full-time OPT employment as your primary activity."

Meaning u cannot continue ur old degree on post-completion opt and u cannot start a new fulltime course. You are only allowed part-time study and that too not towards ur former program of course unless it is thesis.
