Job Description:- Should have strong knowledge on No-SQL databases and administrator activities
- Should have worked in Cassandra administrator role for at least 2 years.
- Should have knowledge of Cassandra Architecture and should have worked on Cassandra and should have knowledge on CQL.
- Should be able to create, decommission, migrate, expand, shrink clusters
- Should be able to do kernel and version upgrades
- Should be able to take care of all the nodes in a cluster, repairing nodes, adding and removing node from Cassandra Ring etc.
- Should be able to perform health check-ups at regular basis on the clusters on regular basis.
- Should be able to do performance tuning and benchmarking of clusters
- Should be proficient in shell, Python or Perl scripting
- Should be knowledge on best practices for managing very large Cassandra clusters
