Job Description
VMWare Expertise
• Minimum of 8 + years experience with either Linux or Windows System Administration, to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, kernel parameter and disk partition modification, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming
• Experience with VMware vSphere and VMware Photon platform
• Experience with installation and configuration of VMware Photon is must
• Build out the Reference Architecture stack, using VMware integrated containers, Docker, and Kafka.
• Apache Kafka experience is a must. Configuration, set up, upgrades, mirroring and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Microservices, Linux Containers (Docker), CEPH
