Job Description:
12+ years of experience in Linux system administration
Own customer / user problems and be preemptive when dealing with issues. Strictly adhere Set of processes and SLA while handling incident requests.
Understanding the DR for different environment. Exposure on DR Drills.
Good experience in red hat cluster management.
Responsible for the maintenance of system configurations and process documentation, operating procedures and infrastructure support documentation.
Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement, problem resolution & workflow improvements.
Work on SLA waivers with Customer for the approvals.
Must attend P1 calls, Major Incident and provide resolution.
Attend CAB meetings with customer for change approvals.
Guide/help junior on the technical issues.
Experience in working on Production environment
Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of boot issues
Experience in troubleshooting the file system related issues.
Good knowledge on Schedule and run Cron jobs, Sudo Configuration.
Should have worked on Service Now, should know how to create request, work incident, problem management , and change request.
Experience in User Management, Files system management, Disk Management, LVM , and Red hat Cluster.
Very good experience in Patching red hat Linux Servers. red hat satellite experience required.
ready to work in 24x7 environment.
Should have working experience in large, and complex environment. preferred banking domain experience.
Monitoring ticket queue and assign the tickets within SLA.
Good Troubleshooting skill in RHEL required.
