Job Description: - Create the database/tablespaces and scheduling the maintenance jobs
- Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures
- Understand the complexities of advanced techniques – e.g. table partitioning
- Experience in Postgres streaming replication and fix
- Experience in Postgres EFM and patroni configuration across multiple servers
- Backup and restore the database and clusters
- Experience on pgdump and analyze and reindexes
- Experience on Failover and switchover the servers and fix
- Experience in migrations and upgrade of database in heterogeneous platform
- Database manager/database configuration settings tuning
- Database performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting
- Adhere to ITIL processes and ability to work in PROD, DEV, TEST and QA environments.
- Unix shell and Perl scripting experience
- Database/Schema Refreshes
- DB User/Access/Roles management
- Create the databases objects like tablespace/tables/index/views and etc...
- Provide DB Capacity Planning analysis, design & implement data archiving, purging solutions & partitioning solutions
