Job Description & skills required: -
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Teradata Production.
· Extensive Experience as a Teradata Production DBA
· Responsible for performing all DBA functions (development, Certification, Production) in 24X7 environment
· Support production on-call
· Extensive Performance Tuning experience in Teradata System
· Extensive Experience in Backup / Recovery using TDM
· Extensive Teradata Resource Management Experience
· Extensive Teradata Viewpoint Experience
· Extensive knowledge in Teradata Active System Management (TASM)
· Extensive knowledge in Teradata tools and Utilities, FastLoad, Multiload, Tpump, FastExport
· Create automation to manage deployments and monitor databases
· Sound Relational Database knowledge
· Basic Unix/Linux and networking skill
· Any scripting Language
